I had same problem with pinch detect. I cleaned the contacts and still had pinch fault. The pinch wiring feeds to the dfi board so I replaced the dfi board and pinch alarm went away. I also had the red,yellow light. It turned out that I partially pulled out the dfi plug on main board when putting it back together. Crystal litter is the best for litter robot 4. I tried boxiepro clay, micro crystal clumping and normal crystal litter. 2 cats. Boxiepro clumped great, even too well. I get the target brand 13 gallon bags. It's 120 bags for $16. Way cheaper than getting the litter robot ones or regular litter box lining bags. I've been using these bags forever and haven't had any issues with tearing or smell. Why didn't Litter Robot add a cleaning mode so you can flip the ball upside down and have it hold that way for cleaning. It's also a perfect way to increase sales of their wipes.
