Deleted my grid heater a couple months ago with a GDP delete plate, now that it is a little colder in the mornings I am getting a check engine light due to it. I searched and couldn't find a thread that solves this without putting a throttle valve grid heater in. Take the nut off the wire (8 or 10 MM socket) and remove it, and start the truck. The check engine light will come on. I was driving today and the wait to start/glow plug light started flashing along with chimes. Now it's on permanently. Anyone know why that is. All other gauges read ok.
